Italy - Erasmus + ( 6.02.16 - 13.02.16)

Day 1st: Our trip to Italy started at 4 p.m., when we together went from Gliwice to Cracow's airport. After 2 hours of journey we got to our destination, but we had to wait to 21.10 for flight. Despite anxiety, travel was calm and we got to Rome at 11 p.m. Because of late hour we immediately went to motel, where we planned to stay one night. Tired and full of emotions, we fell asleep very quickly.

Day 2nd: The second day we started with sweet, Italian breakfast. Afterwards we went to the train station, from where we drive down to Rome. In Eternal City we left our luggage and started to sightsee. We were in Coliseum and Piazza Venezia, we took a lot of photo and we got to know some of Italian customs. At evening we went to the train station, where we met the other students from the project. Supposititious bus took us to Montefiascone, where the hosting families have been waiting for a longer while. We parted each other and edgy went to our houses, thereby ended another day of our journey.

Day 3rd: Our fist day in Montefiascone stared with an official greeting at school. The students and teachers were very nice for us were really prepared for our arriving. They made a multimedia presentation about the city and its surrounding, Next they took us to Rocca del Papi where after explaining the rules we started playing an orientation game. We played it to learn more about Montefiascone. After arriving at the finish we were asked to go to a room where we learned about traditions from countries which had some impact in Montefiascone. At the end the winners of the game and others got medals and we went back to our Italian friend's houses.

Day 5th: At 9.30 we have met in school, where we watched a presentation about local stones. Later, we ate a dinner in the bar opposite to the school. At 14 o'clock we went to the old town Bagnoregio, where we were sightseeing mysterious place. Civita (it means "dead") di Bagnoregio, is an old shelter of Etruscans. It will disappear in next thousand years because of erosion and land sliding of rock material. In the winter it's empty, but in summer this place born alive again and starts living. Everyone were impressed. After sightseeing we went back to home.

Day 4th: At 9.30 a.m. we met at school and we started workshop on "How to manage anxiety and stressful jobs". After a short coffee break our videos about stressful and unstressful jobs were presented. Then, we and teachers went for lunch to bar a next to the school. Next, we went by bus to see the carnival of Ronciglione. We were watching the Carnival and enjoying it for 3 hours. After that we went to Viterbo for realy italian pizza. Each student got enormous pizza served on two plates. I have never eaten such a good pizza before. When everyone was full up, we come back to the school. Our hosts were waiting to picked us up. This day was really good!

Day 6th: At 9.30, from school, we went to Tarquinia. We were sightseeing there an Etruscan's graves, which were placed under the ground. Next, we went by bus to the Tyrrhenian sea. It made a big impression on us. The weather was beautiful, sun was shining, water was quiet and - as in February - quite calm. On the beach there was a bar, where we ate lunch. Then we in Etruscan's museum. Since 16.30 we had some free time for shopping and at 18.00 o'clock we went back home.

Day 7th: We met at school at 9:30 and we went to Viterbo by bus. We visited underground caves and we tasted local products. Then we had some free time, during which we could buy sweets and souvenirs. After dinner we came back to school where we had final quiz competition. In the evening there was a farewell party. We could taste traditional Italian food, we played games and we were dancing. Then we came back home.

Day 8th: At 7 o'clock we left Montefiascone and we went to Rome. We visited Vatican and we took a lot of pictures. Then we ate our last pizza in Italy and we went to an airport. By plane we came back to Poland.
