Day 1st: On Saturday 05.12.2015r. We went by bus to Austria’s airport. We have arrived to Turkey, from which we went to Bulgaria. At the airport families warmly greeted us. After arriving houses, unpacking and acquainting with the family we went to the city to meet with friends from our country.

Day 2nd: On the second day (Sunday ) other groups of the project have arrived, while we had time to integrate with host families. After eating our breakfast we went for a little trip. We travelled to „ Pobiti Kamuni” ( „Stone forest”) remarkable place, on which we have seen large rocks- place in which million of years ago the sea was found. Later we went to the restaurant for dinner, after that we went shopping to JUMBO. By the evening we went for the name day of the resident of Bulgaria, Nikoletta.

Day 3rd: On the third day ( Monday) we visited the school for the first time. We went on a geography lesson about Bulgaria led by a teacher with the help of students. We were divided into groups , which actively participated in the lessons by selecting answers to questions. After geography lesson we divided in groups again and we set off to the city to play a game. We talked to people, sang and we’ve been taking pictures of ourselves. After game we went to „ say hello” to the sea, then we came back to school for students concert. It was an amazing show of national dances and great performances of songs that sunk in our memory for a long time. There we were greeted by the director of the school.

Day 4th: On the fourth day ( Tuesday) we held presentations about our countries presented by the students . Teenagers has prepared a presentation about indicators of migration , births , deaths , marriages and many others. The students showed a very good level of English proficiency. After dinner we have visited a museum of Wladyslaw Warnenczyk, then we visited Grand Mall.

Day 5th: Fifth Day ( Wednesday) was a trip to Madara and to Pliska. That day we visited a few museums, e.g. museum of glass Beloslav. We saw a lot of amazing glass figures, and also had the chance to create our own , which we could take home with us. After spending all day on touring we went with group to the climbing wall where students from Bulgaria helped us reach the top.

Day 6th: On the sixth day ( Thursday) Ms. Magdalena Rozwadowska led the PECHA KUCHA presentation, which she explained to students what it is , because such presentations they will have to prepare for the arrival to Poland . Acquainting with PECHA KUCHA and after it dinner. Then we went to tour Varna. Museums and castles were not missing, e.g, Ovech in Provadia, we have had even a ride with donkeys.

Friday was a day of summaries and farewells, we have played a game about Bulgaria in order to check of what we learnt while staying here. After we finished game we went to traditional dance lessons, where the radio visited us and made interviews. After dinner and shopping the goodbye party started. Young people from the school and their parents prepared for us a wonderful feast. There was no shortage of tears of emotion.

Day 7th: On the seventh day ( Saturday), most groups of the project went to their home countries , while we spent this time with host families on touring the city and last shopping.


On the last day of our stay (Sunday ) we said goodbye to the sea and departure to the airport. After touching goodbye we flew to Turkey, and from there to Austria, where the bus waited for us. We reached Gliwice in the evening.
